Think your bank or credit union offers better financing than "The Dealership" does?
You may want to think again!
When you look around in the lobby of your bank, or credit union, is the only loan rate you see, a teaser rate? I.E. - Rates as Low As .... *
Those are Marketing Ploys. Generally, they are for short terms, 36 months or less, and require 20% down payment. The funny thing is, many times the dealer has access to programs that are even superior to those, under the same circumstances.
Are you aware of this piece of information? Of the 90+ out of 100 transactions that are financed at our dealership, 85 out of 100 of them, choose to go with our financing. None, choose to go with us and pay a higher amount of interest. Some have chosen to utilize there own bank and pay slightly more, out of long time personal loyalty, even though their bank wouldn't match the superior rate that we were able to provide. The funny thing is, these numbers are staggering, and they do not fit the stereotype of dealers finance offerings being excessive.
Does this surprise you? It probably does, because uncle Johnny told you years ago that "all dealers are out to screw you", and his comedic lie has stuck in your head like when someone said "all men are dogs," or something like that, and now you carry that along with you like a bad suitcase that you refuse to put down.
So how can this be possible? What has changed? What is the new dynamic? Why now?
The dealer has multiple dealer agreements with institutions that specialize in vehicle loans, and are aggressive in expanding their market share and lending portfolio. They also have access to sources like Credit Union Direct Lending, Route One, and Dealer Track, which are lending hubs where many lenders come together to have greater access to consumers seeking auto loans, than they would normally have, so they are forced into being more competitive. Again, this is better for you. Let the professionals go to work for you, and do what they do. Not only will it save you time and frustration, but it will save you money. Why use the General Practitioner when you get the Specialist for less?
In today's world of transparent and competitive business, the consumer can truly buy with confidence knowing that not only is the price competitive, but the financing is also.
